Hi Ben, Just finished reading your informative and entertaining book. I have just one question - why not just pay people to move? Round up 100K plus residents of no-hope red-states or super safe blue states and have them relocate to PA, WI and a few others. Surely this is a less expensive and more durable solution. And you could have folks like Tom Steyer who clearly loves to spend money on politics , underwrite the whole enchilada. Think about it.
Do you think AI could be used to redraw all of Wisconsin's 99 districts by using only these 2 parameters: population and geography. Aiming to have as few inside and outside corners as possible with no islands, just contiguous boundaries? CD-03 is an embarrassment.
Statehood for DC and PR--yay! Also, combine North and /South Dakota and re name it Dakota. More districts for CA.
