It’s unfortunate that so many of us no longer know what to believe. So far this looks like a win for us, Ben. Thank you for sharing some hope.

Musk is lying and he isn’t gone. Susie Wiles just wants him off television.

Thinking back, when those who made rather large donation's to US politicians and received various preferential gifts in return has taken on a whole new meaning of graft and prejudice in our country.

In cases where the election for state wide office was contested, state-level democratic candidates who benefited from strong ground games , like relentless canvassing, were often victorious, and I think in every case, outperformed former VP Harris. These outcomes do seem to suggest that the best path to victory starts with direct personal appeals. Ben, even though you are stepping aside, I hope you will be able to carry that message and your organizing brilliance to those state parties that need it most.

I’m very skeptical of his claim about his future political spending. Show me the [no] money.

He hasn’t taken his money off, he made a nice speech of bs to get off the media radar and he made out like a bandit in gvt contracts and destroying oversight.

I wish WisDems would finish off your lawsuit against him. What he did is so clearly illegal. You need to make an example out of him.

I appreciate this reminder, Ben - it's so crucial to analyze and treasure each success along the way (and even if Musk were to change his mind later on, his momentum has been broken, and that in itself has been a boon). Vote Forward was a great support as well, and enabled me again to write many letters encouraging less-frequent voters to go the polls. And your energy and wisdom truly was key in turning the tide, as it has been for the past 6 years!

Yes, Ben you did a fabulous job! I have been phonebanking since March 2017 and Wisconsinites are the nicest people I’ve reached. And they couldn’t wait to vote for Susan. Easiest calls I’ve made.

I think the huge deal is if he's removing the threat to incumbent Republicans to finance opposition in their primaries. That really opens up a lot of potential for Republicans to start honoring their oath. (Disgusting as it is, it might be true.)

Musk will keep his hand in just enough to make sure his companies get whatever contracts that they want and that those companies and himself don’t face adverse regulatory or criminal consequences. He’ll also try to ensure that he’ll continue to benefit from his perceived or actual closeness with Trump.

He is leaving to hone his cyber weapons against us with the money he stole. He just moved projects. He is still a danger to us and probably more so now. He had our data to use.
