Having door knocked on maybe 40,000 doors in rural and small town and college and 'urban' Iowa, I offer my perspective. Just let people see your face and genuine introduction. My problem with party 'Real listenin" is that it only happens when the people asking the questions don't already think they — or their bosses — have all the answers. That's the consultant's actual problem.
Team of Rivals worked because Lincoln brought in people who'd beaten him and might again. Somebody ought to try that and bring you and others on board at DNC.
I just watched your interview on TDS with Jon Stewart. Your presentation and Jon’s clarifying questions made me excited about reading your book. I just ordered it from a local bookstore. I look forward to reading it.

Ben, I have always been amazed by how you transformed the WI Democratic Party. I run a Bestselling Gen Z Substack, No One Asked, but... centered around how Democrats win again, followed by good governance. I write from the perspective of a Jewish Gen Z male raised by my politically involved grandparents in rural America, where my grandfather served as my local town supervisor for almost my entire childhood, and I personally got involved in campaigns at the age of 12. I have interviewed countless candidates, party strategists, policy wonks, and Raymond Buckley. I would love to have you on to discuss the book.

Thank you for organizing so wonderfully what needs to be done to secure our power for the next seven generations by 2032. This is utterly critical, not only in the face of ai, but in the teeth of climate change. Everything is changing, and if we're not ready for it, all of it -- the masses of climate refugees desperate to enter the United States, citizen refugees inside our country desperate to escape failing environments, collapsing agricultural systems, collapsing infrastructure, disease, unemployment, homelessness -- the list looks pretty bleak doesn't it? But if we have a government that works for all of us by 2032, we will survive and maybe even flourish. I am going to share this with as many people as I can. Thank you.
Hi Ben, Just finished reading your informative and entertaining book. I have just one question - why not just pay people to move? Round up 100K plus residents of no-hope red-states or super safe blue states and have them relocate to PA, WI and a few others. Surely this is a less expensive and more durable solution. And you could have folks like Tom Steyer who clearly loves to spend money on politics , underwrite the whole enchilada. Think about it.
